Sugarhouses of Cambridge   Then and Now

    A member of The Cambridge Historical Society has published an excellent book portraying many of the old sugarhouses of Cambridge. This 100 plus page book features some excellent photos and short narratives about local sugarhouses, many from days gone-by but also about some that are still in use today. The book starts with 9 pages of sugarhouse pictures and other items from the Putnam Family Farm. And the book ends with a short section of pictures and descriptive language about a large operation in town with a new high-tech sugarhouse;  plus a dozen or so pages of favorite recipes from local people.

    The cost of the book is $10.00, all of which will go to the Cambridge Historical Society. If you would like to order the book and have it shipped as part of a syrup order, there will be no additional postage. If you order only the book, there will be an $8.00 shipping fee.
